Page 105 features a scene where the character an apprentice to the Galactic News Service is gratefull his companion did not make any ignorant suggestions as a person unfamiliar with how reporting is done.
Who the fuck does he think he is? is the impulse of the reader to think.
Like many in the news this character has bought into the propaganda that no one else has a recorder or methods of communication or cameras.
The ideas in most places are for free speech and in a place with advanced technology it is odd that citizens would require a propaganda service to tell them what is going on. anyone living in the place could have beamed the events which happened to be a war to the galaxy at large.
