The strange thing is tha tfilm describes him as being behind a series of murders after he becomes a house guest but he only kills two people in addition to the corporate propagandist parents.
The father he kills after colliding with and that is understandable but the reason for abrupt stabbing of mother makes no sense.The team attacks him in her house and he kills most of them and then stabs the mother.unless there was some form of treachery it made no sense.
The D corporation made the film so backs corporate views just as  2Oth Century Fox Corporation pushes corporate views it being  a media corporation as the words below the logo preceding each film attest .
